Project Ray'cycle
Stay Apart - Innovate Together

In combination with the Laboratory for Advanced Manufacturing of Polymeric Systems (LAMPS), the Bucknell Ray'cycle team worked to collect various plastic products for the purpose of processing and extruding viable recycled material to be used in new products. These products had basic requirements of extrudability and standardization as the lab capabilities were rather limited.
The result was a series of key chain cutters and university logos that were then given out to perspective students in the college of engineering at Bucknell. Both designs required the making of molds, custom fit to small scale presses, and continued post processing.
